• Every participant has to behave with respect towards others. The participants are requested to represent esports honorably.

  • We expect players to conduct themselves according to the following values:

    • Compassion: treat others as you would be treated.

    • Integrity: be honest, be committed, play fair.

    • Respect: show respect all other humans, including teammates, competitors, and event staff.

    • Courage: be courageous in competition and in standing up for what is right.

  • Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Hate speech, offensive behavior, or verbal abuse related to sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion.

    • Stalking or intimidation (physically or online).

    • Spamming, raiding, hijacking, or inciting disruption of streams or social media.

    • Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information (“doxing”).

    • Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes, unwelcome sexualized comments, jokes, and sexual advances.

    • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

  • Violation of this Code of Conduct will result appropriate action by Next Tier Gaming & Esports TO's. Any decision, determination or ruling made by a TO is final.

  • Next Tier Gaming & Esports takes photographs and videos of online and offline events for use in Next Tier Gaming & Esports marketing, promotion and related activities (Promotional Purposes).

  • Upon registering for the Northern Territory Esports League (NTEL) you (or your parent/legal guardian) give Next Tier Gaming & Esports permission to take photographs and videos (or similar) of you at online or offline events for Promotional Purposes.  

  • If you have any issues with this, please let us know upon registration and we will be sure to avoid taking photos or videos (or similar) of you during our events.

  • One player from the team will be designated as team captain, all communication for the team will be done through this person and will be responsible for getting their team ready for a match.

  • Teams will elect their team colours (Primary and secondary) and is decided on a first in first serve basis.

  • If a team does not have the required number of players by the designated start time they will forfeit the match.

  • Prior to the commencement of all games, team captains will message one of the coordinators letting them know their team is ready to play.

  • Players will only join their team once all players have joined the game.


  • All official matches will be played the maps Champions Field, DFH Stadium and Mansfield Stadium.

  • All official matches will be played with standard settings meaning no mutators, no alternative maps and no alternative ball types.

  • All official matches will be played on OCE servers only.

  • All official matches will have password protected servers. These passwords will change from game to game and only be given to officials, shoutcasters and teams playing.

  • All official matches will be best of 3 games excluding grand final which will be best of 5.

  • All official matches will be players only and include no bots. Even if a team is short one member there is no way to only add a bot on one team to cover the missing player.

  • When creating the server, both team names will be assigned the correct colour.



  • All players may use whatever camera settings they require.

  • All players may use whatever control configuration they like which also means they may use keyboard & mouse or controller if they chose.

  • Players may customise their vehicle in any way they seem fit.

  • Player names must not include anything that may be seen as offensive, insensitive or rude and will need to be approved by the division manager.

  • Team names must not include anything that may be seen as offensive, insensitive or rude and will need to be approved by the division manager.

  • Player icons must not include anything that may be seen as offensive, insensitive or rude.

  • Player in-game chat must not include anything that may be seen as offensive, insensitive or rude. Breaching this can result in forfeiting the match and in serious cases disqualification from the competition.

  • If a player is unavailable for a game then the nominated substitute player will take their place. If no substitute can be found, the team will forfeit.

  • ROUND ROBIN 5v5 preferred format - final format dependent on minimum number of pre-registered and pre-paid teams.

  • NTGE Division managers will apply such rules to NTEL as they see fit, adapted where necessary (at their discretion).
