NEXT TIER ESPORTS LEAGUE
WHAT IS IT?
The Next Tier Esports League (NTEL for short) was developed as a means to bring together the esports community with various games and events. Spanning over several months it will feature a range of games and events for gamers to participate in. Players and teams will accumulate points throughout the League series which will add up to determine the end finalists. Points are accrued depending on your place in each NTEL event. Players/ teams get more points for a win and double points at major special events!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Players and teams will compete in various minor and major events every two weeks over approximately 5-6 months. Points are earned by winning games however points are also given to runner-up teams and participants. This applies to all games. Major events give double points.
Games will have an individual champion player or team which is decided by way of finals event hosted online or at an event. Overall division winner is awarded to the team with the most accumulated points in their division.
Following the final major event (to be announced), there will feature an awards night where players and teams will be rewarded and recognised for their achievement in the NTEL. We will also feature a 'League Wide Award' to particular categories that stand out throughout the course of the League.
These unique awards will be awarded based on a mix of spectator and NTEL gaming committee nominations.
Categories may be changed prior to launch of each new NTEL season.
